Sima Water Town National AAAA Tourist Attraction is located in Four Horse Town, Pingchang County, Bazhong City, a national key town and a national characteristic town. It is an important part of the most beautiful water town and national water conservancy scenic spot Jiangkou Water Town and Four Horse River National Wetland Park. It is the prototype of the famous oil painting Father by the famous painter Luo Zhongli, the birthplace of the documentary Life in the Mountains, and the hometown of Zhao Qiongyao, the great filial daughter of the Northern Song Dynasty.

The construction of the scenic spot began in 2011. In December 2015, with folk culture as the core, "Bashan New Residence" as the carrier and modern agriculture as the link, it was successfully created as a national AAAA level tourist attraction. The core area of the scenic spot is 7 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over Zhenmao, Chuangju, Tiansheng and Dangxian communities, with a permanent population of 11,000. Bada Express and Four horses interchange directly to the scenic spot. National Highway G542 runs through the whole territory, 33 kilometers away from Bazhong city and 21 kilometers away from Pyeongchang County.

In recent years, it has always adhered to the rural tourism route, vigorously implemented the rural revitalization, firmly committed to the tourism image theme of "water town in the mountains, father's village", strengthened the "three thirds", namely one third focus on infrastructure construction, one third on marketing, one third on management, and focused on building a tourist destination in northeast Sichuan that integrates culture and tourism, agriculture and tourism. Since 2016, more than 4 million people have visited rural tourism, nearly 10,000 people have directly or indirectly participated in the development of rural tourism, and 1,300 poor households have been helped to increase their income and get rich. It has realized the major transformation and upgrading from sightseeing tour to sightseeing tour + experience tour, and achieved good social and economic benefits.
